Your Role
Sales Managers play a critical role in the success of our business by providing leadership to our two sales representatives while directly managing larger accounts throughout Canada. The goal is to create a positive culture that energizes and encourages teamwork, fosters strong relationships, and empowers and enables our team to learn and grow while building our sales future.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists in hiring, training, and providing leadership to the sales team.
- Assists in organizing and overseeing territories and performance of the sales team.
- Motivates and encourages sales team to ensure that goals are met.
- Reviews and analyzes sales and operational reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets.
- Maintains excellent customer relations by calling on customer management and assuring that the needs are met.
- Provides quarterly sales performance reviews to identify and implement needed sales strategies in target market(s).
- Live the example of core initiatives for our organizational growth mindset (DCD, core products, new product launches, etc.)
- Monitors customer activity including industry and market trends, competitive actions, pricing situations and makes recommendations to capitalize on opportunities or minimize risk.
- Resolves customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations.
- Handles or assists discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Collaborates with VP of Sales to develop sales goals and strategies.
- Assists in monitoring sales team expenses.
- Generates and analyzes sales and revenue reports.
- When requested, submits analysis to VP of Sales.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Qualifications
- 3 Years Leadership and Management Experience
- 5 Years Sales Experience Required
- Degree in Business or related field preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Construction Industry Experience preferred
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, and Outlook
Work Conditions
- Must be able to Travel
- Long periods of time driving
- Time sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Jobsites, warehouses, and offices
- Inside and outside, standing for long periods of time

The Sales Manager role will be based in the Greater Toronto Area, with standard work hours of Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This position offers a semi-monthly pay schedule, with payments made on the 15th and 30th of each month.
