Overview:
Provides support managing large national distributor Key Account and OEM customers. Delivers first class sales support, implementation of strategic initiatives that lead to revenue growth, guidance to the inside sales staff, other internal stakeholders, and exceptional internal communication to the broader organization. Must be a self-starter with a competitive drive. Candidate needs to possess an exceptional level of attention to detail, and a keen understanding of manufacturing principles. Experience in Sales and Manufacturing preferred.
The Perfect Candidate will be in the Sacramento area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the shipment and replenishment of large distribution and VMI OEM inventories.
- Respond promptly to inbound emails, website inquires, and telephone calls. Maintain customer satisfaction by notifying customers when orders are complete and assist with any problem solving resolutions that may be needed. Communicate specification changes to parts, and execute smooth transition for manufacturing.
- Support quotes for large complex programs that involve doors and door parts with highly detailed specifications. Identify further opportunities with current customers by securing new product lines. Consult customers on how parts from OC Door can improve the performance of their end product, and increase the efficiencies of their production.
- Meet monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goals for the company. Network, generate leads & prospects, build relationships and create business opportunities for OC Door through customer visits and trade association meetings

Education & Experience:
- 5+ years of previous experience in either millwork, lumber sales, doors, door components, door frames, or custom wood components is required.
- Ability to convey a sense of expertise in woodwork, manufacturing, door production, and other millwork capabilities to educate our customers is required. Associates or higher degree preferred.
- Ability to read CAD drawings accurately and convert into a consultative sale is required.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills and phone etiquette. Passion for relationship building.
- Highly organized, self-starter and problem solver. Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Candidates need to be hard working, competitive, team players, and entrepreneurial.
- Strong math and conceptual skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
- Candidate must possess a high level of proficiency in Excel.
- Entry level of Millwork and Door Systems strongly preferred.
- Travel as needed.
The minimum annual base salary for this position is $95,000 + bonus + benefits. Base pay may increase depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience. This information is specific to Sacramento, CA and may not be applicable to other areas.
