Job description
The Senior Corporate Real Estate Analyst is a key member of the Cornerstone Building Brands center of excellence responsible for leading the operational process and projects for a 200+ property real estate portfolio of leased and owned properties. This person will collaborate with business unit and functional leadership to generate ongoing value for Cornerstone Building Brands through effective internal collaboration, management of outside service partners, and project management. The ideal candidate will have experience working with outsourced real estate functions and have experience in project management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with business unit partners, legal and outside service providers to manage lease evaluations, negotiations, renewals, and other property transactions. Manage supplier partner relationship to ensure successful implementation of portfolio strategies aligned with business footprint optimization strategies
- Manage and select service providers to support real estate and facility needs as required. Act as liaison with operating teams and landlords on all lease matters
- In collaboration with outsourced parties, support lease administration activities and act as liaison with internal finance partners on ad-hoc portfolio analyses
- Manage real estate and facilities projects in conjunction with third party service providers. Prepare information packages and presentations for consideration by senior management and stakeholders
- Maintain dashboards and reporting tools to monitor and report on the performance of the company’s real estate portfolio
- Monitor real estate trends and market conditions to assist in making strategic recommendations
- Participate in cross-functional projects that drive the efficiency and effectiveness of real estate operations
Qualifications
- Collaborates with business unit operations and external partners to execute value driving projects
- Strong analytical skills and financial acumen; experience with financial modeling is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Broad understanding of business issues, metrics, organizational linkages, and customer value
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to project a positive company image with outside parties
- Display behaviors aligned with CBB values and success model to drive a culture that embodies safety, integrity and inclusion
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, or business administration.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience; direct experience in corporate real estate preferred
- Expertise in real estate markets, negotiations, service provider management and familiarity with lease administration and portfolio management tools
- Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills required; PMP certification a plus
- Ability to Lift Approximately 0-25 Lbs
- Ability to travel 10-20%, depending on business need

The US base salary range for this role is $95,000 - $115,000 annually + STIP + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. (Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.)
