This person is responsible for providing financial and systems expertise and leadership in managing and improving processes across the finance areas. While this individual will be involved with many projects and processes their primary responsibility will be to administer, support, and implement new modules and functionality within Pella’s financial Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) applications.
EPM APPLICATIONS MANAGEMENT, ADMINISTRATION, & SUPPORT:
- Develops and maintains expertise related to Pella’s core financial systems with a specific focus on OneStream and related applications.
- Acts as a transactional accounting expert who understands how each type of transaction should account and what causes it to do so.
- Provides first line support to the end user team and works closely with the IT team to manage more involved support requests.
- Functions as an EPM applications expert who understands modules between the EPM application as well as with other databases across the organization.
- Stays current on research regarding future application changes, upgrades, functionality enhancements, and what this means for the Pella team.
- Responsible for maintenance of application business rules, metadata, and security settings as assigned.
- Experience in Agile Delivery and Dashboarding tools (Jira and SmartSheets)
- Works with teams across the business to ensure system changes are appropriately tested prior to moving them to production.
- Functions as a data expert who is able to fulfill data requests in support of daily / weekly / monthly business processes, internal and external audits, business case analysis, etc.
SPECIAL PROJECTS ASSIGNMENTS:
- Acts as a flexible resource who is able to balance multiple projects and priorities as various non-recurring tasks are assigned.
- Able to research, investigate, trouble shoot, and make recommendations for required changes across a wide range of topics that span across systems and areas of responsibility.
- Clearly communicates project plans, timelines, resource requirements, along with progress updates to affected teams and users.
- Documents processes adequately to ensure ongoing support and maintenance efforts are successful.
- Completes testing efforts as needed to ensure ongoing processes are not affected by changes made from special projects.
- Provides end user training as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Accounting from four-year College or university; and 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMPUTER SKILLS
To perform this job successfully an individual should have knowledge of the Enterprise Performance Management products and any integrations with other Pella systems. Knowledge of the technology used to manage the EPM systems and integrations are critical. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is also required. Experience with Power BI or our data visualization tools, and VBScript, C#, and/or SQL languages are a plus.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
CPA and/or CMA a plus.
