The Human Resource Business Partner is responsible for providing onsite support to Montreal Plant personnel in the areas of HR and safety. The person in this role will play a key role in the strategic and operational management of human resources in the areas of recruitment, employee onboarding, employee engagement and training, performance management, leave administration, regulatory/audit compliance, and safety.

What You’ll Do
- Serve as an onsite HR partner, supporting employees and management in all HR and safety-related matters.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing employee development programs.
- Provide coaching and guidance to supervisors on performance management and employee relations.
- Oversee leave administration, compliance with labor laws, and pay equity programs.
- Act as the emergency point of contact for workplace incidents and support worker’s compensation processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and provincial regulations.
- Organize employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and community service initiatives.

Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or a related field.
- 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
- Bilingual-French and English proficiency required
- This position reports indirectly to the management in the U.S., which requires a good knowledge of English, both written and oral
