About the Job
As Corporate Account Manager you will be responsible for the commercial and operational success of the relationships with prospective and existing corporate accounts across North America. Reporting directly to the director of Business Development, they will provide strategic engagement with central procurement and c-suite decision makers to foster mutual business success. The salary is based on experience and ranges from $110,000 to $125,000 annually.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base within assigned markets and industries.
- Analyze market trends and identify value drivers for customers to provide tailored solutions that meet their business needs.
- Set and communicate pricing strategies at senior levels, ensuring competitive and profitable pricing models.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including Directors and senior-level executives, emphasizing value-based selling.
- Collaborate closely with internal procurement and R&D teams to align on pricing and product development strategies.
- Demonstrate a hunter mentality, with a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities and driving sales growth within the existing and prospective customers.
- Maintain a high level of organization to manage multiple accounts and complex sales processes efficiently.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new products and technologies to meet the evolving needs of the market.
Here’s What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field (technical background in Chemistry or similar is a plus).
- Proven experience managing major or corporate accounts, preferably with large and complex clients across multiple locations.
- Strong market research and analytical skills, with the ability to translate trends into actionable insights.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively throughout North America.
