ROCKWOOL, the global leader in stone wool insulation manufacturing, is seeking a dynamicInside Architectural Business Development professional to deliver virtual training and education sessions to U.S. based architects. In this consultative sales role, you'll educate clients on our products, solutions, and their global benefits. You'll collaborate with a team of U.S. based Architectural Specification Managers and our corporate Technical and Building Science teams. This role will be based onsite at our corporate office in Milton, ON with occasional travel required.
What You Will Be Doing
- Identify market opportunities within the architectural and design community, fostering lasting relationships that drive sustainable revenue growth. Expand knowledge of ROCKWOOL’s products and services to gain designer support and generate sales opportunities.
- Build and advance the upstream sales pipeline by collaborating with the Sales team to convert opportunities into closed deals through value-based selling. Address objections and turn challenges into growth opportunities with architects and commercial project teams while strengthening partnerships with Sales colleagues.
- Conduct lunch and learn presentations and Continuing Education Courses (CEUs).
- Operate in a remote/virtual sales role, leveraging tools like phone, video conferencing, social media, and online meetings to grow ROCKWOOL’s market presence.
- Enhance visibility through social media and active participation in industry related activities.
What You Bring
- Accredited University / College Degree, College or Trade Accreditation, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience in the construction or building materials space
- Good understanding of commercial specifications and architectural drawings
- Approachability to build solid client and colleague relationships and reinforce the positive ROCKWOOL culture
- Ability to organize workload, prioritize and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
- Strong presentation and negotiating skills
- Experience with CRM and data analytics tools preferred
